Trusted Deed Poll (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides personalised Deed Poll document preparation services.
Because each document is created uniquely from the information you provide, refunds are subject to the rules below.
This policy explains when refunds can and cannot be issued.
2. Personalised Documents Are Exempt From Automatic Refunds
Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, personalised or custom-made items are not eligible for a refund once work has started.
Our Deed Poll documents fall under this category.
3. When You Can Receive a Refund
You may request a refund only if all of the following are true:
✔ You contact us before we start preparing your documents
✔ We have not begun reviewing or formatting your information
✔ Your order has not been sent for printing (if you selected postal delivery)
If these conditions are met, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.
4. When Refunds Cannot Be Issued
Refunds cannot be issued if:

We have already started preparing your documents

We have already created your personalised Deed Poll

You provided incorrect or incomplete information

You no longer need the document or changed your mind

Your Deed Poll is rejected by a third party (as each organisation has its own acceptance policy)

Postal or email delays occur outside our control
However, if an error is caused by us, we will correct the document free of charge.
5. Corrections & Amendments
If you made a mistake when submitting your details, we can often make changes.
Depending on the nature of the correction:

Minor corrections may be free

Significant changes may require placing a new order
We will explain this clearly if it occurs.
6. Delivery Issues
Digital Delivery
If your document fails to arrive by email, we will resend it at no cost once you contact us.
Postal Delivery
If a posted document is lost by the postal service:

We may offer a reprint at a reduced cost

Proof of non-delivery may be required

Refunds are not provided for postal delays or postal service errors
