What Can You Expect From Trusted Deed Poll?

When you're changing your name, choosing who to trust with your personal information and your Deed Poll is important.

At Trusted Deed Poll, we believe customers should know what to expect before they place an order — from how much their Deed Poll will cost to what happens after they apply.

That's why we've built our service around clear information, straightforward pricing, secure online applications and helpful guidance.

Clear information before you apply

We want you to understand the process before you spend any money.

Our website provides information about changing your name by Deed Poll, the different services available and what you'll need to do once your documents arrive.

You can complete your application online from home without needing to arrange an appointment.

Pricing that's easy to understand

We don't believe customers should have to search around to discover what their order will cost.

Your first Trusted Deed Poll costs £15, and additional original copies are available for £2 each.

Additional originals can be useful when you're updating your name with several organisations and don't want to rely on a single document throughout the process.

Your information matters

A name-change application involves personal information, so data protection is something we take seriously.

Trusted Deed Poll Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), and our website uses 256-bit SSL encryption to help protect information transmitted through the site.

Customers also complete their payment through a secure online checkout.

A choice of ways to pay

Different customers prefer different ways to pay, so we provide a range of payment options.

You can choose from:

Card • PayPal • Klarna • Apple Pay • Google Pay

You can select the option that suits you when completing your order.

Professionally prepared documents

Once your completed application and payment have been received, your Deed Poll documents are professionally prepared and posted directly to you.

Additional original copies can also be ordered if you need them.

Help after your Deed Poll arrives

Getting your Deed Poll is only one part of changing your name.

You'll then need to start updating your records with the organisations that hold your details.

That's why the Trusted Deed Poll website includes practical guidance covering organisations such as HM Passport Office, DVLA, HMRC, banks, employers, GP/NHS services and more.

A service built around simplicity and trust

Changing your name can mark an important point in your life. The service you use to help you do it should make the process clearer — not more complicated.

At Trusted Deed Poll, that's what we're working to provide:

Clear information.Transparent pricing.Secure online applications.Professional documents.Helpful guidance.
